When freelance journalist and City, University of London Master’s student Hanah Shokeir approached LEAH to learn more about the experiences of refugees rebuilding their lives in the UK, we were pleased to connect her with one of our learners, Saber.
Saber arrived in the UK from Sudan in summer 2025 after fleeing conflict. Now living in Hounslow, he is building a new life, learning English, developing his digital skills and preparing for future employment and further education.
