Carol began her journey as a LEAH volunteer tutor at the start of 2024, and has since supported several learners remotely. She brings something to her role that can’t be taught – a deep, personal understanding of what it feels like to be vulnerable, and uncertain of the path ahead.
Carol’s own experience of an abusive relationship has shaped her into a tutor with empathy and compassion. For the learners she supports, knowing they are truly understood makes all the difference.
